Macaris Hotel is located in the west entrance of Rethymnon, only 900 meters from the center cascading down a hill. It is overlooking the open sea and the old Venetian castle. Built in 1990 and renovated in 2001, with 110 rooms all with sea view. The hotel is only 100 meters from the sea, but our clients can also use our swimming pool -separate children's pool- with free sun chairs and umbrellas and have a snack in our pool bar or lunch in the roof garden.

Macaris restaurant provides both international and Greek dishes. The buffet breakfast and dinner provide a wide variety to choose from. Lunch is à la carte. After dinner, guests can enjoy a drink in the air conditioned bar or public areas. During the summer, the roof garden bar offers the best view of the sunset on the island and is open all day till late at night. Please note: during dinner men are asked to wear long trousers.

All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
